Nathan R. Ring focuses his practice in the areas of labor law, ERISA, and government affairs. Mr. Ring has considerable experience in the representation of Taft-Hartley trust funds and labor unions across a variety of industries. His practice also includes representation of local government employee associations under NRS Chapter 288. Mr. Ring has represented these clients before courts, administrative agencies, local government bodies, and the Nevada Legislature. Prior to joining The Urban Law Firm, Mr. Ring served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable William G. Rogers of Nevada's Third Judicial District Court.
Mr. Ring graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2010. While in law school, he received Dean's List Honors and was awarded the Dean's Graduation Award for Outstanding Achievement and Contribution to the Law School. During his law school career, Mr. Ring competed in Moot Court and worked as research assistant to Professor Tom McAffee; summer law clerk for the United Auto Workers (UAW), International Union Legal Department; and legal extern to the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ring received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Affairs from Wayne State University and an Associate of Arts Degree with a concentration in business from Schoolcraft College.
