Sean W. McDonald’s primary areas of practice are ERISA, labor law and general civil litigation. Mr. McDonald joined the firm as a law clerk and became an associate upon being admitted to the Nevada Bar.
Mr. McDonald graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in 2012. While in law school, he served on the Nevada Law Journal, received Dean’s List honors, and earned CALI Awards for Excellence for earning the highest grade in two courses, Legislation & Statutory Interpretation and Criminal Procedure - Investigation. During law school, he served as a legal extern and lobbyist with Snell & Wilmer’s Government Affairs unit during the 2011 legislative session in Carson City.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. McDonald received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Nevada, Reno. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. McDonald served two terms as an elected student senator and was inducted into Who’s Who Among American Colleges and Universities.
Mr. McDonald is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and all Nevada state courts.
